Dear First Presby Congregation,
Start off the New Year by being a part of an exciting mission opportunity. Attached you will find information regarding a photo exhibit presented by Carl Agsten Jr. and Leslie Clay (our mission workers in Nicaragua) that will be showcased at Taylor Books. The opening night reception is this coming Tuesday, January 10 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. (see attached flyer for full details).
This opportunity provides us with not only a place to gather and fellowship but also a wonderful way for us to show our support of our missionaries and the tremendous work they are doing in Nicaragua. Come and be inspired!

During the months of September through May, we have services each Sunday morning at 8:45 am and 11:00 am and Sunday Schools at 9:45 am. Child care is provided for infants and preschoolers. Everyone is welcome!

Here at First Church we celebrate the fact that we have been engaged in ministry and service to and with the city of Charleston since 1819. Spiritually "standing on the shoulders of those who have laid that solid foundation,” we are convinced that our most exciting and fulfilling times are ahead of us.
I hope these pages will address any questions you have about our shared ministry, the future, and the possibilities of your role in it. Hopefully it will raise some new questions as well.
