Introduction
First Presbyterian Church, Charleston is a congregation of
1200 members. We have a diverse membership involved in a myriad of
ministries in Charleston, the State of West Virginia, the nation and the
world.
We anchor our ministry efforts in worship, study, fellowship
and mission as we seek together to be disciples of Christ and meet human
needs wherever the Lord leads.
In our shared ministry we offer dynamic worship,
incorporating a broad spectrum of worship and music expressions from
traditional to contemporary with Biblically based sermons, an excellent
Christian Education program for all ages, and extensive missions reaching
across the city and across the world.
We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
Located in the downtown area of Charleston on the corner of Virginia Street
and Leon Sullivan Way, convenient parking is available on Sunday mornings.
Our building is accessible to those who are in wheelchairs,
and we provide hearing devices and large-print worship bulletins.
